Xbox One games list may have been given a boost, with big claims a top PS4 exclusive could be heading to Microsoft’s console.
The PS4 has outsold the Xbox One handily this generation, and arguably one reason for this is the huge selection of PlayStation exclusive games.
From God of War, to Spider-Man, to Uncharted 4, to Bloodborne, to Horizon Zero Dawn, to Persona 5 – the list of must-have PS4 games goes on and on.
But one major, upcoming exclusive for the PS4 that fans have been getting very excited about may be appearing on the Xbox One also.
The Final Fantasy 7 Remake is one of the most highly anticipated games on the horizon.
A remake of the PS1 classic, the JRPG revival is heading to the PS4 next March.
The Final Fantasy 7 Remake has only been confirmed as releasing on the PS4 so far.
When it was first announced during E3 2015, the teaser said fans would be able to “play it first” on PS4.
This seemed to suggest that the Final Fantasy 7 Remake may make it to other platforms at a later date.
And one Xbox Facebook page may have revealed that the Final Fantasy 7 Remake will indeed be appearing on the Xbox One.
As reported in a post by GamingBolt, the official Xbox Germany Facebook page may have revealed the Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming to the console.
The post, which has since been deleted, says the Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be coming to Xbox One on March 3 2020.
This is likely a mistake as the Final Fantasy 7 Remake seems to be, at the very least, a timed exclusive for the format.
This isn’t the first time that news of a potential Xbox One version of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake has been revealed.
In the run-up to E3 2019 an online retailer may have leaked that the Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming to Xbox One.
The GameStop Ireland website had a listing for an Xbox One version of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
The listing has since been taken down.
