Rumours suggested that Lesnar would defend the Universal Championship against Balor at the Royal Rumble last January but the match never happened.
The Demon King though is still very keen to share the ring with The Beast as he sees him as one of the few WWE superstars who gets fans immediately invested in him from the moment his music hits.
Balor told Inside the Ropes: “Well, I don’t make that decision.
“I’m just very low on the totem pole with regards to who makes the matches.
“But obviously, I would love the Brock Lesnar match more than anyone. I think it’s the classic David vs Goliath match.
“I don’t think it’s very much like a match I’ve had before… or he has had before, maybe?
“Honestly, when Brock’s music hits, everyone pays attention. Despite all this talk about ‘He’s not there every week,’ ‘He’s not the best.’
“I know that when his music hits and he walks out, I’m invested and I’m intrigued to see what is gonna happen.
“There is certainly an aura that Brock carries that nobody else carries. That’s the title aura that I want to be in the ring with and I wanna feel and experience.”
Lesnar’s last match took place at SummerSlam last month in New York where his 504-day reign as Universal Champion came to an end when he lost to Roman Reigns.
The Conqueror seems to be on his way back to UFC for a Heavyweight Championship showdown against Daniel Cormier.
However, the five-time world champion will first get his rematch for RAW’s premier title when he returns at WWE Crown Jewel.
The ex-WWE Champion will face Reigns and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat Match on November 2 at the King Fahd International Stadium in Saudi Arabia.
Lesnar has been dominating the competition ever since his return to WWE in 2012 as he has beaten some of the company’s greatest legends like John Cena, Triple H and CM Punk.
The 41-year-old also ended The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania four years ago.
