US naval officers have claimed two mysterious men boarded the USS Princeton to seize all footage of the Nimitz UFO encounter shortly after it was captured on camera.

Two mysterious men, who were never identified, arrived via a helicopter aboard the guided missile cruiser, naval officers interviewed by defence news site Popular Mechanics claim.

Veteran Gary Voorhis, who was tracking the 40ft tic-tac shaped object, said: “These two guys show up on a helicopter, which wasn’t uncommon.

“But shortly after they arrived, maybe 20 minutes, I was told by my chain of command to turn over all the data recordings for the AEGIS system.”

Secured hard drives of the airborne early-warning aircraft, the E-2 Hawkey, were also turned over, they claim.

A leaked report from the Pentagon revealed a supersonic UFO shaped like a Tic Tac had stalked a US Aircraft carrier for days before vanishing into thin air.

Veteran Gary Voorhis claimed two people arrived on board shortly after to seize the footage

Some of the pilots even said the aircraft could make itself invisible as it travelled next to them.

In reports, one of the pilots mentioned described the craft as being “solid white, smooth, with no edges… uniformly coloured with no nacelles, pylons or wings”, and looked like “an elongated egg or Tic Tac”.

Pilots who witnessed the incident reported that they picked up the presence of eight to 10 objects in their radar equipment.

And in 2015 a veteran pilot of an F/A – 18 fighter aircraft witnessed a raft of anomalous aerial vehicles during the training exercise off the coast of Jacksonville.

In the footage, he said: “There’s a whole fleet of them. Look at that thing, it’s rotating.”

Confirmation the videos are real came in statements to unexplained phenomenon website The Black Vault.

The Navy designates the objects contained in these videos as unidentified aerial phenomena,” said Joseph Gradisher, spokesman for the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare.

“The ‘Unidentified Aerial Phenomena’ terminology is used because it provides the basic descriptor for the sightings/observations of unauthorised/unidentified aircraft/objects that have been observed entering/operating in the airspace of various military-controlled training ranges.”

Despite being leaked in 2017 in an explosive New York Times article, the story about the USS Nimitz UFO continues to raise new mysteries.

Commander David Fravor – one of the original US Navy pilots who witnessed the tic-tac UFO – recently suggested there were tapes of the encounter “missing”.

That claim appeared to be backed up by Petty Officer Jason Turner , who said the longer video showed that the UFO “had legs”.

Commander David Fravor also claimed a mystery ” dark mass ” emerged from ocean and swallowed a torpedo.
