The US government is “creating a next-generation of space warriors” that’ll enrol into the Space Force, a military veteran and peace worker has claimed.
Bruce Gagnon is the co-founder and coordinator of the Global Network Against Weapons & Nuclear Power in Space.
The organisation is hosting a Keep Space for Peace week, which sees international protests form at the militarisation of space.
In an exclusive chat with Daily Star Online, the campaigner claimed youngsters are being “trained up for a future as a space warrior”.
During the exclusive chat, Bruce said: “They’re now training people, young people, they have space camps around the United States.
“They bring them in and get them excited they then move them into the Air Force Academy and are given a heavy indoctrination on warfare and space.”
Bruce claims the youngsters are told “it’s a good thing because it’s going to protect us, help us and keep us free from the bad guys”.
“They’re working all these angles now to ensure they have a new generation of what they call ‘space warriors’,” he continued.
“This is absolutely their agenda.”
The United States Space Force (USSF) is the proposed space warfare service branch of the United States Armed Forces, which is intended to have control over military space operations.
It would be the sixth branch of the United States Armed Forces and the eighth U.S. uniformed service.
If established, it would be organized as a military service branch within the Department of the Air Force, one of the three military departments within the Department of Defense.
In the past, “triangular crafts” have been recorded by the International Space Station live feed “hovering” over Earth leading viewers to believe it was a US Space Force ship.
