Khabib Nurmagomedov takes aim at Tony Ferguson
Khabib Nurmagomedov has claimed Tony Ferguson is still the interim lightweight champion and has told his opponent to stop masquerading around as the undisputed 155lbs belt holder.
“No, you interim champ. Be humble, bro. You interim champ,” Nurmagomedov told Ferguson during the UFC 223 conference call.
“Be humble, boy. You interim champ, you not official champ.
“You still interim. … You have fake belt.
“Tony, you have fake belt. Sell it. Sell it and make some money.”
