Arsenal beat Everton 5-1 with Aubameyang making his Gunners debut following his £53million move from Borussia Dortmund.
The Gabon international enjoyed a fine debut, scoring a deft chip to ensure he get his Arsenal career off to a flier.
And, speaking after the game, the 28-year-old expressed his delight at getting off to a winning start.
“I am really happy, we won the game in the first-half, the second was a bit different, whole happy today,” he said.
Mkhitaryan blossomed for Arsenal in his third appearance for the club.
The former Manchester United star made three of the Gunners’ goals.
And he also looked a far cry from the player who struggled for 18 months at Old Trafford.
Speaking after the game, the Armenia international cut a happy figure.
And he also expressed his delight at playing for Arsenal, saying he “likes the way” they play.
“I am very happy, it was a well deserved win, we have to keep doing the same to win the next game and think about getting more points,” he said.
“We played very good attacking football, the second-half was a bit hard.
“I really like the way Arsenal play and hope to do my best.”
Arsenal are next in action against Tottenham next Saturday (12.30pm).
