Chelsea have placed Kai Havertz above Jadon Sancho on their summer shopping list, according to reports. The Blues have been linked with both of the European stars as Frank Lampard looks to close the gap on Liverpool and Manchester City.
Chelsea are looking to get their business done early this year and have already captured Ajax ace Hamin Ziyech and RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
Another attacker is sought after and Havertz and Sancho have been highlighted as potential superstars.
However, Football London claim the Blues would rather move for Bayer Leverkusen’s Havertz because Manchester United are focussing all of their efforts on Borussia Dortmund winger Sancho.
The Red Devils have yet to make a formal approach for Sancho but they have been informed of the £115million price tag.
If Lampard’s side also join the race for the England international’s signature that valuation could rise further.

Football London adds that United’s promise to Sancho that he can become their main man will also be difficult to match.
Instead, the west London outfit would rather try and negotiate a deal for versatile midfielder Havertz.
Leverkusen missed out on the Champions League spots as they finished fifth in the Bundesliga.
That means Chelsea may be able to strike a deal if the 21-year-old wants to move to play at the highest level.

Leverkusen CEO Fernando Carro insists his side are under no pressure to sell Havertz but he will let the youngster leave if an acceptable offer is made.
“I can see that many clubs are interested in him,” Carro told Kolner Stadt Anzeiger.
“Kai has been with us for 10 years. I see the wish of the player to take his next step sometime in the near future, which you have to respect, just as you have to respect the fact that he has a contract with us until 2022.
“You have to try to find a solution where the player’s goal can be reconciled with ours. At the moment nobody can say for sure what will happen.”
Chelsea are also hoping their defence this summer and have made Leicester full-back Ben Chilwell their top target.
However, the 23-year-old has four years remaining on his current deal so will not come on the cheap.
