Since the Italians joined the tournament to make it the Six Nations in 2000, four times a side has attempted to win a third title in a row.

And each of those times, the hat-trick has proved a bridge too far, including England themselves back in 2002.

But Eddie Jones has overseen just one defeat since taking after the 2015 Rugby World Cup and his side will start the Six Nations as clear favourites for the trophy.
