The 61st Grammy Awards is going to be taking place in America tonight (Sunday, February 10). The Grammys 2019 – short for the Gramophone Awards – is presented by The Recording Academy to recognise music achievement within the industry. There will be a whole host of stars attending the event as well as a series of performances to keep the guests and viewers entertained throughout the evening.

How to watch the Grammys 2019 online

There are a number of ways to watch the Grammys 2019 online but these vary between the US and the UK.

Unfortunately, it’s unclear whether those in the UK will also be able to watch the awards show via the site.

US network CBS will be airing the main event across America from 8pm Eastern Time and 5pm Pacific Time.

For those in the UK, the Grammys 2019 starts at 1am on Monday, February 11.

American viewers can also watch the show the Grammys 2019 online via a number of platforms including, CBS All Access and the CBS app.

How to watch the Grammys 2019 online in the UK

Unfortunately, there is no official live stream to watch the Grammy Awards in the UK.

British channel E! will be broadcasting red carpet coverage with Giuliana Rancic and Ryan Seacrest interviewing the stars as they arrive.

The red carpet will also be available to watch on The Recording Academy’s Facebook page.

4Music is going to be broadcasting highlights from the Grammys 2019 on Monday, February 11 between 7.30pm and 9pm.

Although UK fans may not be able to watch the event, you can keep up via The Recording Academy’s official Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube feeds which will be updated throughout the evening.

Where is the Grammys 2019 being held?

The Grammys 2019 will be taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, marking a return to the City of Angels.

Last year the Grammys was held in New York at Madison Square Gardens and hosted by British comic James Corden.

Singer Alicia Keys is taking on hosting duties this year as the big awards of the evening are handed out.

There will be 84 awards given out at this year’s ceremony with the most prestigious accolades announced towards the end of the evening.

Diana Ross is going to be presented with a special award from the Academy recognising her contribution to the music industry.

She will also be delivering a performance during the ceremony, along with a number of other artists including Shawn Mendes, Janelle Monáe and Miley Cyrus, among others.
