Call of Duty Mobile will continue to keep fans coming back for more FPS action with the release of a special November update.
Fans have been waiting to find out when COD Mobile Zombies Mode would be launched on Android and iOS.
And this week has seen the Call of Duty Mobile team finally provide a release date for the big event, along with an update on upcoming controller support.
While some fans expected the new Zombies experience to launch closer to the end of the current Halloween event, it appears they won’t have to wait that long.
A new message from the COD Mobile team has revealed that the Call of Duty Mobile release date has been set for November 22, 2019.
That means COD Mobile fans should be battling the undead before the end of the week.
It’s great news for fans of the free-to-play mobile game, following a long post-launch wait.
And it’s a great way for Activision to refresh the game nearly two months after it was first released in early October 2019.
Zombies Mode has been part of the game’s UI since the titles started to be shown off to the media during E3 2019.
So it’s been a long wait to find out when exactly the new COD Mobile mode would be launching into the wild.
The news was shared via an official post on the Call of Duty Mobile Twitter page, along with a short GIF teaser.
The development team behind the hit shooter has also revealed that Zombies Mode will be launching days before the end of the current Season.
A new Battle Pass will be launching for COD Mobile on November 25, bringing with it a ton of new cosmetic items.
“Last week we were thrilled to see you share in our excitement about upcoming content and zombies mode!” a message from the developers reads.
“Not only is that on the way this month, but as you may have noticed the current Battle Pass is nearing its end and that means a brand one is just around the corner.
“That new Battle Pass will be filled with new loot, new gear, and plenty of ways to make you stand-out or blend in, on the battlefield.
“On top of that, there will be a variety of new content coming out around that same update, like controller support, new limited-time modes, and a new classic map.
“Lastly, we didn’t forget about zombies mode! We are happy to announce that it is releasing on November 22nd (PST) alongside some other amazing content that we’ll be talking about next week.”
So from what has been shared so far, a big new Call of Duty Mobile update is set to be released next week, adding a range of new content to the game.
And it won’t just be Zombie fans that will be happy with the upcoming patch coming to COD Mobile. As mentioned above, Call of Duty Mobile will soon have official controller support.
The details haven’t been shared yet, but Activision has confirmed that a full explanation will be made available this week.
The wording makes it sound like the new feature will be made available to fans along with the launch of the new Battle Pass.
“Last week we mentioned Controller Support is coming out soon in an update and today we’d like to announce that you’ll be able to find all of that information early next week on our Activision Blog,” the message from Activision adds.
“The blog post will provide information on what types of controllers are supported, the settings, and how to set that up.
“We’ll share that through our Call of Duty: Mobile social media and in several community areas once it is live.”
So fans waiting to use their PS4 or Xbox One controller in Call of Duty Mobile will want to keep an eye on the official social media feeds over the coming days.
